so i have a lot to be thankful for, since i last blogg'd w/ ya. . .let's c. . .i'm married. . .NOT! lol i'm in a relationship which bona-fides for a RANDOM moment if i ever heard of 1. i was resistant at 1st. i really was. . .but this man is damn near AMaa-aziNG! i love him so much that i cannot contain my bubbliness 4 him. . .his name is PAUL!
i still have my health intact. . .all my hair. . .and most of all, my all-important, one of a kind, sensational personality. did i mention that i underwent sum plastics as a X-mas gift to myself this past December '07?! well, it's true. . .and i'm feelin' exTRAordinary & all that comes w/ as i embark on this new chapter of my life.
it's positively a wonderful feeling to accept the flaws and challenges that comes with life and love. i've definitely accepted what my flaws are, and although that my life isn't entirely at a point of relishing in perfection, it's almost in a category of it, and that is pure delight for me, personally & professionally.
so i look forward to what this year has in store for myself, my boys, and w/ my boo. it is afterall a wonderful life, indeed. i'm sure proof of it!!! so bring it. . .

happy b-day 2 me!

so da local time here in d'aygo is 835AM, and i'm jst on a HIGHness right now, b/c i'm officially 30 yrs old, and by the way . . .it's my b-day! can't ya c me glowin' in all my glory & charm upon readin' my blogfest of sorts on your end. . .hehehehe. . .damn, where does the time fly, u know?! i figured i'd b kickn' & screamin' w/ havin' 2 feel like i'm jst spent on reachin' this major milestone in my life, when in all honesty, i'm ecstatic and relieved really. i love this absolute feeling of knowing x actly what i wanna do w/ my life, of who i am inside and out-, & jst feeling so much comfortable with jst being ME, and i wanna make sure ppl around me know that i'm so content 'bout it and of course that it's my 30th b-day. ha! hey, i wanna hear 'em say. . .'oh well then, happy b-day'!
so let's recap, shall we. . .mentally i feel i've gained a sense of who i am and all that entails. kind of like a damn good bottle of wine in which, u've become more refined and jst damn delicious overtime, and that's how i feel 'bout this nxt decade of my life.
physically, i'm 30lbs lighter den wence b4 at da beginning of this yr. i was jst so unhappy on how i allowed myself 2 let go, and i gave so many x cuses on how i came that way -- blamin' others 4 da way i b-came so damn overweight that at da end of da day, i needed 2 remind myself it was all ME, force feeding myself 2 oblivion. . .what i should of been doing was using that negative energy to force all of that badness OUT in order 4 me 2 feel more free of myself. and i'm so glad i finally came 2 grips w/ that real quick, b/c if hadn't. . .i'd b still stuck in a size 10/12. . .and married! lol (comedy, i tell ya)
so on today's hitlist of items 2 kill, it's gonna b sumthin' like dis. . .a day spent at work, doin' absolutely NADA. . .lol. . .nah, i got stuff, but it's not gonna b in da active workplate, if ya catch my drift. hahahaha. . .
i meet up w/ property manager, anna, 2 have final walkthru on potential pad & cutesy cottage -- i'm tryin' my damndest 2 b OK w/ it all even though she try and pull a fast 1 on me in terms of deposit amt. . .$50 more, aye?! i 8n't trippn jst yet! lol
and i move my shat from psychotic roomie in2 dis pad, so at least my shat 8n't stuck der n-e longer.
after movin' . . .i want 2 spnd a raunchy eve w/ dude over whacky s3x, sum good sushi & hot sake. enuff w/ da damn beers J. . .lol (fo' reos)

vegas babee!

so this past laborday weekend was the highlight of the month, more so of than ever. met up w/ sum of my childhood bffs for a getaway trip out 2 vegas, nv in celebration of our being fabulous women and enterin' our 30's with delight and anticipation. it was a glorious weekend full of fun, heated debates, etc. . .what a weekend w/ women is suppose 2 b 'bout, and i'm so glad we finally made it happen -- definitely, 'bout damn time in fact.
we stayed in a posh timeshare that was borrowed from one of my bff's gfriend at work, only charged us 4 da entire wk'nd $200 bucks which no matter how u cut it, is still a very sweet deal when cruisn' vegas-style.
i decided 2 never-ever drive n-e mor' out 2 sincity due 2 lessons learned from the past, so i flew out, touchdwn by 1PM, had 1 of my homies pick me up from the airport. it was nice, hangin' out -- had sum grub and watched sum "wildboys on mtv" 2 hold me over till da rest of my entourage arrived later that day.
got settl'd finally in2 da suite, bought sum brew & mo' grub and l8r in da eve, play'd sum texas hold 'em w/ sum locals from around da way & jst u no wat, dey jst so happen'd 2 b from samoa as well . . . small world, i tell ya!!!
nxt day was spnt sleepin' in. . .havin' a restful, relaxn', vry chill'n day spent INside (no doubt) -- 2 HOT as fuc'd 2 evn wonder da cross-streets, a whole lot of bullshattn'. . .got a call from our local resident bff invitin' us 2 a b-day bash, evn got da same invite from da partyplanner, himself so it was all G -- always down 4 n e thin' really.
l8r we got doll'd up 2 go hang out 4 sum mo' drinkn' -- ended up at a local joint call'd aloha bar (a whole in da wall) karaoke slash billiards in which college aged and perhaps sum wanna-B socialites and a few hamos/polys seem'd 2 flock.
stay'd up wid a homie from samoa till da wee hours of da morn jst bullshattn' & drinkn' (da rest of my posse turned in 4 da nite). . .then finally hit da sack at 8AM -- had a good of 4-5hrs of sleep action. . .i could get use 2 dat.
went out 4 sum grubbn' at sahara den play'd da nickel machine & a big spin fortune, blew off $10 bucks only. lol hey, wat can i say -- i'm a wuss!
overall, my time & energy spent there was more of a refresher course on how i try and live life everyday now. however, by day 2 i was needing a jolt of reality that sumtimes, a getaway trip isn't key when u don't have the ppl that matter most 2 u 2 enjoy the goodness -- so yes, shai-styles & steel (my boys) -- there's a time and place 4 'em, and bringin' 'em out 2 vegas wasn't a item on the agenda, at least not like a trip w/ the homegirlys, so instead i'm thinkin' of legoland or seaworld central 2 make myself less guilty 'bout it all.
my feelings 4 vegas itself is like gettin' a bikini wax -- it's necessary 2 have frequent visits, but it can b damn painful in the process. so even though i get a lil' x cited 4 a trip 2 vegas, a few days spent in sin city makes me miss e'vrything else so i 4get da whole purpose of my trip 2 begin w/. i prefer 2 hang low either in or nearby cities of san diego. it's not as overrated.

i'm DUNzo!
alright, i'm not real sure how to begin tis blog since so much has happened in these last few months that even i can't fathom how twist'd it has all been, but so far on what i feel the need 2 share is that, i'm much more happy now and it's completely evident but at the same time i feel as a part of me has gone awry. here's the brkdown 2 my personal debacle. . .u sure u want in???
+++moms spent a good six weeks being my personal shrink, friend, and sitter and i jst love this woman w/ such a passion that i miss her so terribly!
+++filed for divorce a day b4 my 7th wedding anniversary w/ barr. that was three months ago n still no mediation or court date set. all of this jst stings, but i'm takin' the hits and feelin' so numb w/ it.
+++i officially moved out two wks ago, but got a pad of my own 20 mins from our townhome, so it's a whole lot convienient on commute for work and less awkward for barr and i 2 have our lil' run-ins. also, i'll b able 2 save on $$$ for the anticipated move. . .
+++spkin' of move, i've decided 2 pack up and permanently move back home 2 samoa. i'm on a 5-7 yr plan of making something happen for myself and the boys, and the goals i have mapped 4 the timeline is a priority and not in the backburner still brewing w/ time. it's gonna happen. . .all of it, and i'm so x-cited! can't ya c me glee w/ delight?! lol
+++turning 30 come nxt wk, wed (sept. 5th) and it will b an awesome awakening for me personally and i am so looking forward to it. this weekend i'll b joining sum bffs on a getaway trip 2 vegas, so thats a b-day wish come true in all aspects. gonna keep it classy and mellow for the most part, i'm totally diggn' this new high i'm ON!
+++lost a total of 25lbs of absolute f.a.t and eatin' quite HEALTHY -- got this tat a decade ago that reminds 2 do jst that on how i live my life. it's a tripp i tell ya. . .
so that's on the agenda for the moment. . .tune in a few months from now when hopefully, i'll have the finale for my divorce and may b a parttime gig 2 help me w/ the move expenses.

yiPPEE for summer!
so i know it's been months since i last updat'd tis blog & i honestly do feel bad not keepin' my end of the deal -- so much has happen'd in both my tv world & life in general that i can hardly keep still in my seat.
+ church is still an existin' part in my life, in which i am eternally greatful to have.
+barr & i continue to live seperate lives, yet we are livin' bedroom apart, ever heard of a "non-divorce"?!
+shai-styles loathes havin' 2 do homework -- he may have to join summer readin', won't be too thrill'd 'bout that.
+steel battles potty trng. & it's been a handful of hits/misses, but overall he's learnin' to like dungeries?!
+lost 21 lbs and gained back 8 lbs, won $500 on a 'biggest loser' bet amongst my peers at work.
+work continues to be a sore spot, i'm in my 5th yr of bein' on the 'No help desk', so tryin' to reevaluate my potential at this point.
tv-mania:
+greys' ended w/ a whacky finale -- burke is OUT (fired) and i'm thinkin' it's b/c of the 'fa****' debacle. [poor guy can't get a lucky brk at all in hollywood!]
+sopranos' series ended in an abrupt blackout in the final minutes, has all of us in shock. no tidy endin' 4 the mob-show, but i personally like to think tony & co. liv'd to see another day, but others feel that he got shot. either way, it was rivetin' tv for the last six seasons.
fyi, i sign'd up for medifast in order for me to lose 30lbs + and keep it off. below will be my tracker for the duration. let's get physical, shall we?!

reading my scriptures!

so i finally decided to take my bubble -butt and boys to church this past sunday. somehow, i was pondering on what i should do for the day, and i figured that a sunday spent at home watching endless tv wasn't the answer. nor was it constructive on a sabbath for my boys, so i dress'd the kiddos and quickly threw on an outfit that i knew was the only thing in my closet worthy of wearing since it fit -- mental note: run, run, run! so i get there to the meetinghouse, and of course i'm late -- just in time for partakin' of the sacrament. i knew in my heart that it had been so long since i've renewed my covenants w/ my savior, but i took it anyway, and you know what --i felt good afterwards.
i took shai-styles to primary, and took steel to nursery. i met a new friend in nursery, and so did lil' steel. how wonderful it is to find another gal that attended byuh -- such a small world, i tell ya. in any case, we chatt'd endlessly. . .then i left for relief society. wonderful lesson on true conversion and seein' how it was fast & testimony sunday, how appropriate was it to be a part of all that and more.
so of course, i didn't bear my testimony, but i did feel the need to begin reading my scriptures, especially the BOM (book of mormon). so that is my goal for this month of feb is to read or in my case, i purchased the BOM on CD (audio-version), so if i'm at work or in my work, i can put on a CD and visualize the words as it's being spoken.

December: Warmest time of the Year?
i love christmas! i love what this holiday represents and how it transcends all across the world. it makes ya feel all warm & fuzzy inside knowing that it is because of this great holiday, that we as individuals try to be more giving & understanding to ourselves and to those around us. and why is it that we wait till the end of the year to celebrate christmas? couldn't the spirit of christmas be a part of our lives daily? more christ-like, right?! isn't that really what the ultimate goal is at the end of the year -- i guess it's more of a rhetorical question to your yourself both personally and spiritually.
well, i definitely have a whole lot to be thankful for. i have discovered that i'm such a loser when it comes to making financial investments. the 2nd home purchase was such a very BAD idea to begin with but did i even consult with an attorney or even my local real estate agent -- no! i dove into the deep blue with my head first, and it wasn't fair for me to expect my family to go along on this gamble. i should of done my homework, talked to ppl 'bout their experiences, at least allowed some time to pass before making a judgment call like that. i take full responsibility that i made a foolish decision and it nearly costed almost our life savings. word to the wise: cut your losses on any REAL ESTATE, quick!!!
i have also discovered that i'm a whole lot chubbier this dec. month -- an extra 20 lbs isn't very flattering at a height of only five foot 2 3/4 qtrs. . .i really blame myself -- baking those chocolate cookies w/o having a care in the world of where it may end up at. . .on my legs & flabby belly, it's sad really. for the last five years of been trying my damndest to get back into shape from all the ridiculous fat jokes due to post prego, & now i'm back to where i have started. so i can honestly say that i'm not too fine 'bout that discovery, but i do appreciate all the desserts i've stuffed my face in the last year or so. oh yeah, and eating out to restaurants doesn't help much either. cook at home as often!
so my christmas gift to myself was a brand new car, actually a used one but it drives and looks new. my kids adore it, and my husband thinks it fits my personal style. it was tough decision on choosing the right vehicle that is both gas efficient as well as practical and i made sure the price was reasonable at best. so it seems that everything worked out in the end.
well, here's another ball-busting year and i look forward to what 2007 has in store for me and my family. thanks for reading! cheers, j

i heart grey's!
who in here doesn't love this show call'd greys anatomy?! i swear, i'm like this lil' kid in a candy store goin' gah-gah 'bout it [in anticipation] ev'ry sundays. . .now thursdays. i remember givin' it a fighting chance after seein' the promo again, again. . .i think what wOn me over, was the epi when iZZy is yellin' at [alex] someone in PO-mode at the same time undressin'. . .now, that was some draMa there. . .i was intrigued to see why she was so heated. . .lov'd season1, and season2 was aWesome even more. . .and now, the latest season3 is jst HOT & on-point than ever before. . .although, there are times when they've began to jump
my favO character would have to be dr. christina Yang! her determination & ambition, not to mention her ever-so "eloquent" bedside manner & quick-wit commentary is what drives me Over the moon for her. . .i live for those poignant one-liners. . ."someOne. . .sEDATE ME!"
so the last epi entitled "where are the boys at?" left us scratchin' our heads. . .well, jst a lil'. we first see the alpha-male dRs. of seattle grace embark on a campin' trip to the woods. . .rather Brokeback mountain-esque, but i love how Chief Weber puts it so simply, "Man-love. . .i'm down. . .i'm hip." and how cute was the Chief with his rollin' samsonite & picnic basket in tow. . .seein' the Chief outside of SGH is more enjoyable to watch, i hope we get to see him & adele rekindle their 30-yr union. a shout out to actress Loretta Devine!!!
okay, so here's a "grey's" synopsis on what we know so far::
:+: derrick decides that "taking a needed space" away from meredith wasn't the answer. he returns back to the city to find, hopefully, meredith at joe's emerald city bar and the two of 'em decided to 'start over' from the beginning, exchangin' intros & a tender kiss. . .hold ON while i gag for a nanoSec. . .lol
:+: george learned, while on the short trip, that callie was hidin' a secret -- that she slept with sloan and it's obvious that it didn't bode too well with george seein' how he & alex endured a "slap fight" facilitated by instigator, chief weber himself. always good to see our grey's male counterparts. . .'gettin' along'!
:+: christina continues to hold her ground after bailey call'd her out on erasin' her name from the OR sched. i'm so glad that bailey is back in full 'nazi' form. . .welCOmE naZi bailey! looks like christina is startin' to show signs of wearNtear. . .this so-call'd 'well-oiled machine' as christina puts it 'bout to get the breaks. . .very, very soon. i so wish burke will jst go back to the chief & confess for time-off.
:+: izzy seems almost real now. i'm glad that she finally admit to dr. sydney haron [love her] of feelin' scared and a hint of self-doubt. . .and looks like in nxt week's epi that she & alex still got dirty on their minds. i hope alex steps up into true form and confesses to her that he's lov'd her. . .in like, fore-ver!
:+: and what is the deal with mark & addi? i thought he's in love with her, and yet he's tryin' to shack up with mer & and doin' the mcNasty with callie in another epi -- he needs to put that dIck on a short leash, quick b/c it's damn, Pissin' me OFF!
i'm curious to know if what had happen'd to the couple with the stillborn, maybe happen'd to derrick & addi too. the thing is, addi has never broken down like that on any case before, so seein' her in tears, i only wish the writer would have mentioned it -- as to why derrick became so "absent".
so for all of you diehard grey's finatics out there -- i guess we'll have to tune each thursday's eves to see how it all unfolds. peaceOut, j
my favO character would have to be dr. christina Yang! her determination & ambition, not to mention her ever-so "eloquent" bedside manner & quick-wit commentary is what drives me Over the moon for her. . .i live for those poignant one-liners. . ."someOne. . .sEDATE ME!"
so the last epi entitled "where are the boys at?" left us scratchin' our heads. . .well, jst a lil'. we first see the alpha-male dRs. of seattle grace embark on a campin' trip to the woods. . .rather Brokeback mountain-esque, but i love how Chief Weber puts it so simply, "Man-love. . .i'm down. . .i'm hip." and how cute was the Chief with his rollin' samsonite & picnic basket in tow. . .seein' the Chief outside of SGH is more enjoyable to watch, i hope we get to see him & adele rekindle their 30-yr union. a shout out to actress Loretta Devine!!!
okay, so here's a "grey's" synopsis on what we know so far::

Weekend OverDrive
friday started with a bang. first, i came home after a long & tedious day from work to get sons [two mind ya] ready for oldest son shai-styles' school MoNster BaSh and i settl'd to dress him like a skateboarder slash rocker -- in short, he h8'd the look. never seen my lil' guy so sad & a wee bit embarrass'd -- i wished i could have the hair & make-up a bit wilder, but there was jst no more time but to roll with it and he did too after an hour or so from actin' like a sourpuss. the lil' stinker aka steel [hence, momOfsteel] went as a sports finantic -- doll'd him up ev'ry and any sports memorabilia we could muster from his closet. . .granted, he's only a 2.5 yr old, pint-sized like-hobbit & a lil' face makeup to complete the look, his costume seemed like a HIT!
all in all, the eve started off fresh, showboat'd at the event for 'bout two hours, to what seemed a whole lot longer, and then we scurried off into the eve to dine at claim jUmper, an eatery for the masses though this la mesa location was quite lacking in the dessert dept., not that i'm complainin'. . .the entre i had was very deliciOso. . .only wish'd the chocOlate chip calZone was available. . .i highly recommended it!!!
saturday was a tad better -- took a drive out to the infamous OC, laguna beach & dana point! i know. . .i know. . .i jst couldn't resist! but yes, the scenic route was absolutely. . .breathtakin'! i swear these damn kids in laguna have it ALL, and i'm so chealous. . .jst a lil' bit!!! after our rendevous out to the OC, we headed back to del mar -- broke bread at milton's delicatessen and then hurried onto SCReamZone. . .mind ya, it was k8y's 1st time at the scare grounds, and boy it was hilarIous to see her scream. . .the woman had sum piPes, i tell ya. . .ironically, she scream'd more than i did, but i somehow lost my voice. i think it was a combo b/w a lil' of the flu-bug & yellin' . . .those clowns scare me. . .but boy, they did an awesome JOB. . .worth ev'ry penny we spent as well as standin' in line in the cold. . .i'd do it. . .again. until nxt time. . .toodles, j

LB's Epi 11 Review
so last night's epi "3-day rule" of laguna beach was sOooo not what i was hoping for. i guess i wanted more drama -- may be a confrontation b/w alex & raquel aka "rocky" to arise at the concert, or how 'bout tessa getting a reality check that guys don't want a clinger-chick. tessa has no clue, whatsoever, when it comes to boys, and i really feel bad for her, honestly i do. i feel like goin' out to laguna to school her that guys [generally speaking 'bout highschool ones] just want a "for now" gal, a pT-girl [part-time] -- when it's convienient for them, so it's obvious that derek was jst playin' her all along like a guitar. and judging by this season's batch, it's so crystal clear that the guys' are running shat like they iz "it", even though we have this sorry season being narrated by pitiful tessa! the producers should take a page by having the nxt season be narrated by the likes of. . . kelan instead -- uh yes, kelan -- what wonderful big brown eyes you have, my pretty! lol goodness, i wish i was 17 again -- you. . .me. . .together as one. . .ha! okay J- sounding a bit stalker-ish. . .where was i?! oh yes, the first two seasons, the girls were taking full charge of the situation -- gawd, bring back kristen, alex m., & lc!!! as much i love to hate this show, it jst brings me back to such fond highschool memories that i miss so much. . .tafuna high rocked!!!
oops, my badd. . .jst had to throw a shoutout 2 my alma mater, got too much warrior Pride in the fizzle! so i was sayin' after gettin' a wee sidetrack'd. . . in a nutshell -- i honestly didn't dug this epi, at all. i basically stayed up past my bedtime and felt so robbed. i thought that a reconciliation btw alex & rocky was gonna happen, b/c seriously, i did think the two of 'em will always be. . . forever & ever together. . .but oh no. . .those damn producers! only showin' us a six-minute tension-grabber, and then. . .that's pretty much it!. . .why am i a sucker for highschool-luvin'?! ;D
so wrapup thoughts:: i find alex to be a complete mcJerk with a twist -- goin' on & on 'bout rocky, yet he's clearly still madd for her. . .c'mon alex, jst admit it. . .even though he call'd my girl rocky a "sL*t" jst cuz she was hangin' w/ nick at the concert. and speakin' of nick -- he gets kuddos fo' bein' oh-so a gent' [awww, stop it] ;D but yes, i could tell my girl rocky was really into him, it was only when alex showed that she tried to put the moves on him [go 'On w/ ur badd-self, rocky] lol. . .and so it seemed that gettin' alex jeaolous positively worked in rocky's favor. even though, rocky didn't do it in the intention to drive him out of the concert hall -- she needed a hug, badd! but i'm sure if lexie had shown up, alex would have been doing the same thing to lexie --whispering in her ear, touchy-feely. . .blah. . .blah. . .so glad that alex got majorly diss'd by lexie. lol points for the ice princess aka lexie! surprised to see breanna in the mix. cannot believe she showed up at the concert and without an entourage. she's definitely a loner! lol i guess lexie didn't clue her in on the plans for the eve' -- may be breanna is dying for some tv-time -- hey, is it jst me or does breanna look NOthin' like her big sis, lc?! she mst take after the pops' of the fam.
ok so judgin' the previews for nxt week's epi, looks like breanna will have plenty of tv-time to try and woo us, and gettin' pretty coZy too by former date-DOrk, derek. . .ewww! !! fugly flocks together. . .lol. . .a match made only found in the OC. . .i'm totally kidding! hehehehehe. . .
boltin' out! j

My new Obsession: Laguna Beach
does anyone else watch laguna beach, anymore? sheesh. . .i feel like i'm the only one on the LB-express that still tunes in each wed eves jst to see the new batch of season 3 to duke it out . and i can't believe i jst admitted it that. . .shameless i know. . .but i can't help it. . .this last epi entitled "it's like, break-up season" was by far *yawns*. . .uneventful. although, i did have to hand it to racquel for being oh-so mature 'bout the whole break-up aftermath with alex -- and at a group bonfire, very awkward. and can't believe after racquel walks away from alex, he immediately goes to back to the group like nothing major happened, and starts asking those twits their celly digits! like wtfuzz?! i'm PO'd that racquel allowed such behavior to continue on in her presence. i would have been calling him out like the spazz he is. so not cool, at all!!! i figured alex was at least the creme a le laguna-crop, but he jst lost major points for bein' like the rest of them.
looks like next week's epi, we begin to see a very darker side of alex -- calling racquel a sL*t, jst cuz she agreed 2 go on a date with nick, cam's ultra-sidekick. some1 pleeeze get me a paintball gun so i can start shootin' pellets at alex. first off, he broke it off w/ racquel for being too "intense", and who was the one that decides to start gettin' celly digits of potential girlies while your recently -ex is a few feet away and can basically hear the convos???!
why is it that girls are labeled sl*t or biatches all the time?

what's in a name?
i guess an intro is in order, seeing how this is my first official "blog-fest" of sorts and i'm actually excited by it all. can't ya see my almost koolaid smile?! well, it's true! because beforehand, 'bout two and a half years ago, i use to post random thoughts on my then personal site called "Julia's Domain" on yahoo. only recently did i decide to retire it entirely, the domain name & bandwidth, ie. . .long story short, i somehow landed in the pages of "blogger" mania and in a nutshell, it's great to have found a home for my future e-blogs-a-plenty. ya like that?! ha! of course, if you're still debating if you should continue to read anymore of my sweet nothings, than i promise you that you won't be disappointed because i've got the magic. . .stick?! well, not really. . .but you'll be my A. my new best "cyber-pal" & B. you're so way COOL. . .and smart, even!
okay, so before i start goin' on & on & on & on. . .oops, i meant to stop at on #2. . .'bout ME, two things: i prefer to type in small case, so only if i plan to emphasize a word or two, will i use caps -- bottomline, small caps is my thang. plus, it looks way HOTTER. don't ya agree?! and 2. please no hating on the blog, wo-/MAN! if ya feel the need to cut me were it hurts, than BRING IT, but elsewhere. . .ya dig?! other than that, COMM-ents, -pliments are always welcomeD!!! and, constructive criticism is appreciated as well. so show any kind of lovin', in whatever shape or form, and mind ya i did say "LOVE".
alrightie then, enough with the damn formalities, sheesh. . .so i'll begin by jabbin' 'bout. . .ME, of course! hehehehehe. . .whaaaAT?! ;D i'm a mom of two boys, uh duh. . .hence, the "mom of steel" & shai-styles, and let's not forget wifey to hubby B. [stay tuned for pics galore] and lately, working out incessantly is my thing now, next to family life. get this, i have 24-hr gym membership but slackin'. . .bigTIME, although, i've been optin' 2 play tennis instead. and so far, it's been exhiliarating! tryin' 2 get back down into a size 2 since movin' up to murrieta, ca & then back down to san diego, ca. and yeah, i'll say it. . .i blame the weight gain from wence moving out to pleasantville!!! teehee! but seriously folks, 2 yrs livin' in the suburbs and i gained you ready for this. . .20 plus pounds. . .it sorely SUCKS when nadda fits ya anymore. and i refuse 2 storage my smaller clothes, b/c i have it in my thick brain that eventually, it'll fit! lol yes ppl, i'm in DENIAL, even big sis, june, says it so too. but i'm driven 2 run, run, run. . .no matter how long or how fast, i'm determined to get back down to my widdle widdle-ol'self. . .younger sis, k8 is here visiting d'aygo from AmSam -- she too is trying to shed 'bout the same amount. . .so i got my workout partna-in-crime and i think i'll be set to reach my target goal weight of $1.05. . .[gulp]. . .uh, kiddin'. . .get a grip, ppl!

so in a nutshell, born & raised on my island of American Samoa aka AmSam. and yes, there still exists two Samoa's, located in the heart of the South Pacific ocean. . .two Samoa's, indeed. . .did i stutter?! this is true, so if ya don't believe me, then do some research on Google or visit your local library for an Atlas?! damn, do they still make those?! and no, i won't spend the next two or three paragraphs giving a free geography lesson on the matter, but jst know, that two islands of Samoa still exist. . .American Samoa & Samoa. . .so get it right, y'hurd?!
basically, left "home" at the tender & naive age of 17 to attend college. did a whole lot of growing up 'bout how the real world works, fell in love too many times to count, & somehow settled here in d'aygo. oh yes, i remember how i ended up here, but rather go into anymore of details, jst know this. . .that i still love & miss "home", terribly. and someday soon, i'll return to the islands along with the family. but until then, this here lil' suga is livin' life to it's full max here in sunnyville san diego, ca. life's been real good to us, a struggle at first, but all lessons learned nonetheless. . .and so it seems like the heavens have been watching over us all along, and for that i'm eternally thankful for all that i have, my life and my family.
and before i forget, the name is jst. . ."J"! blessings ;D
